Cristi and Morgan Harris, the owners of Gameday North Scottsdale, were recently featured in the latest issue of The Scottsdale Progress

Progress Guest writer Chris Fahrendorf spoke with the Harrises about their journey opening Gameday Men’s Health location — and the life-changing discovery of Morgan’s prostate cancer, which may have been caught just in time thanks to Gameday’s testing.

“It was a shock” Cristi Harris told Fahrendorf, “But it also validated why we started this clinic — to help men catch these things early.”

Morgan Harris volunteered to calibrate the new Gameday location’s blood testing equipment when the couple was getting ready to open the clinic in 2023. His results showed PSA levels that were dangerously high. This led Morgan to visit a urologist, where he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

After undergoing surgery, Morgan Harris was back to work in just seven days — all thanks to the early discovery at Gameday Men’s Health.

While Morgan Harris’ recovery was swift, Fahrendorf describes how his diagnosis led him to re-connect with longtime friend Mac McKee, who was dealing with a much more aggressive form of the disease that had metastasized to his spine and lymph nodes, leaving him temporarily unable to walk.

This inspired McKee to launch the YHWH Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting men’s health and promoting early detection.

“Prostate cancer is called the silent killer for a reason,” said McKee. “That’s why early testing is so important.”

To honor their partnership with the YHWH Foundation, Cristi and Morgan Harris are offering 10% off the first month of membership or any new service for patients who mention “YHWH” at the Gameday North Scottsdale clinic.

“It’s personal for us,” Cristi told The Scottsdale Progress. “Mac is family. We know firsthand how important it is to catch prostate cancer early. That’s why we’re proud to support YHWH and help men who might not otherwise ask for help.”

With 12 locations across the Phoenix area, Gameday continues to expand, providing a comfortable, reliable location for free PSA testing, where no appointment is necessary.  “We want to remove every barrier,” Morgan said. “You’re in and out in 20 minutes. No excuses. Just go get tested.”
