K. Mitchell Naficy, MD

Dr. Naficy is a Board Certified Family Physician with over 29 years of clinical experience. He completed residencies at USC Medical Center and UCI Medical Center, and is a member of the California Medical Association, American Medical Association, and American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Naficy is an expert in men’s health and wellness, aging, and addiction medicine. Throughout his career he has developed a particular specialization in men’s testosterone replacement therapy and regenerative medicine. Dr. Naficy is an avid soccer player who competed internationally on the US Medical Soccer Team from 2015- 2017, and a dedicated mountain biker for twenty-five years. He has also been involved in motorsport formula racing and continues to compete in endurance sports car racing today.

If you could travel anywhere in the world with no budget, where would you travel to?

Without a doubt, my favorite destination in the world is the Caribbean Sea, Puerto Rico and it’s neighboring tiny islands. It is where I went to high school and medical school and where my grandparents are buried. Its people, music, landscape and customs are out of this world amazing!

Getting to know humans- their story is ALWAYS compelling.

Raphael Akobundu is a Nurse Practitioner at GameDay Men’s Health. He is originally from Nigeria and moved to New York City as a teenager, where he attended the University at Buffalo and played college football. He has a thorough background of working in men’s and women’s health.
His obsession with fitness and overall health is what makes him so fascinated with men’s health. During his free time, he loves traveling with his wife, exercising, hanging out with friends and participating in various sporting activities.

If you could travel anywhere in the world with no budget, where would you travel to?

I would travel to Jamaica. The people are very welcoming and open to visitors.

Cheetah – I am fast and athletic.

Active – I love sports. Both watching the players as well as participating.

The thing I love the best is working as a team.

Shea has worked previously in Physical Therapy and other medical environments which has helped her give patients the most pleasant experience here at Game Day. When she’s not at the office, she enjoys the gym, hiking all over California, spending time with her family, cooking, and loves to snowboard!

Ashley is a Physician Assistant at Game Day Men’s Health. She is a Southern California native and grew up as an athlete. She played collegiate softball at California Baptist University, where she also earned her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She has a solid background in immunology, family medicine and preventative medicine. Her love for nutrition and exercise science is what drew her into the men’s health industry. She loves to see her patients living life to the fullest. She enjoys fitness, runs with her puppy, paddle boarding, backpacking and finding new hikes to accomplish.

Jessica was also a full-time live-in caregiver for her grandfather and received her Phlebotomy license. Her passion is to help others while connecting with her guests/patients.  Italy to visit my distant relatives (my family is from Naples) and Paris because it is so full of history. I have visited Venice and Paris already but only for 1 day each.

Like dolphins I love the water, being social while keeping my family and friends close. Dolphins are caring animals that like to take care of the other dolphins in their pod and like a dolphin I am caring and love to help others.

She attended school at Boise State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Respiratory Therapy. Hillary worked for several years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. She then decided to pursue her goal of becoming a Physician Assistant. She attended California Baptist University where she graduated with her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. Hillary has a thorough background in working with patients of all ages and prides herself on offering customizable care to each patient she encounters. During her free time she loves being outdoors, going to the beach and lake, baking, and traveling with her family.

If you could travel anywhere in the world with no budget, where would you go?

Italy is definitely on my bucket list. I love to be outdoors and would enjoy seeing the beaches, mountains, and beautiful natural scenery. I also love bringing history to life by visiting museums and ancient ruins. Not to mention, trying all the pasta and gelato would be amazing too!

If there had to be an animal that represented me it would likely be a dog. Dogs seem to have so much empathy. They know and understand when you are both sad and happy. They are there for all of the good and bad times. I try to always be that friend who is there for anyone no matter what circumstances they are currently in.

One word I have heard people use to describe me is passionate. I am passionate about my family, my friends, my work, and my hobbies. Whenever I set my mind to something I go 100%.

If I won the lottery I would likely pass out first. I would also love to start a fund for childhood cancer research, start a family business, and invest money for my children to have in the future.

Born & Raised in Delano, California. I earned my Nursing Assistant Certification in 2016 and that’s how it all began. I volunteered at Clinics/Hospitals on multiple occasions. I worked as a Medical Receptionist to enhance my communication skills, work ethic, and ability to provide quality patient care. After having a job under my belt, I enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and honorably completed my service as an E-5. It was a rewarding experience, and it has shaped me to be the best version of myself. At High Desert Medical College – Temecula, I received my Clinical Medical Assistant Certification. I will continue to further my education in the medical field and strive for greatness. I have a beautiful family that will encourage me along this journey.
