Gameday Owner Vicki Castleman and Family Featured in The Glendale Star
Gameday Men’s Health owner Vicki Castleman and her family were recently featured in The Glendale Star. The Star highlighted Castleman’s journey to becoming a Gameday franchisee started due to her son, Connor’s belief in Gameday Men’s Health’s commitment to reshaping men’s health.
“We were helping GameDay find franchisees,” Connor explained in the article. “I got a front-row seat to the growth, and I just knew it was going to take off. That’s when I brought the opportunity to my parents.”
After selling their first franchise business, Vicki and her husband, Scott, weren’t sure what their next chapter would be. But when Connor introduced them to the possibility of being an entrepreneur at Gameday, the Castleman family dove in headfirst with a mission to help men take back control of their health
For Vicki, working at Gameday wasn’t simply a business opportunity. Her husband Scott has been using testosterone therapy since the couples’ time living in Nebraska. She became even more aware of the importance of men’s health as her sons entered into their twenties. “I have two boys and a husband. It’s kind of my whole life story,” Vicki said in an interview with The Star. “Seeing Connor so passionate about this space and knowing how many men don’t prioritize their health, it just made sense.”
What makes their story even more powerful is how Gameday’s care directly impacted their own family. Routine testing at their clinic revealed that both of Vicki’s sons had low testosterone, an issue that can lead to reduced energy, lack of mental clarity, low motivation, and more.
Even more surprising, lab work uncovered early-stage prostate cancer in Scott, a discovery that may have saved his life. “He’d been on treatment for years and always had normal numbers,” she said. “But suddenly, they weren’t. If it wasn’t for the clinic, we may not have caught it when we did …“This isn’t just business. We’re potentially saving lives,” Vicki said.
For Vicki, working alongside her husband and son has been a rewarding, energizing experience. As their clinics continue to grow, the Castleman family is committed to helping men learn about the importance of testosterone health, no matter their age. “We’re seeing 25- and 30-year-olds who feel off. They have no energy or motivation and it turns out their levels are low,” Connor said. “The earlier you know your baseline, the better equipped you are to take action down the road.”
If you find yourself experiencing low energy, lack of motivation, reduced libido, loss of muscle mass, or other symptoms related to low testosterone, it’s important to take action as soon as possible. Early detection and a specialized treatment plan from trusted health professionals at Gameday can set you on the path toward feeling like yourself again.
