Article / Giving Back Comes Naturally for Gameday North Scottsdale Owners Cristi and Morgan Harris

When Cristi and Morgan Harris opened Gameday Men’s Health in North Scottsdale, their goal was to make men’s healthcare more accessible and approachable for the local community. What began as a personal health journey for Morgan has since evolved into a small business with a strong community focus.

As shared in a recent inBusiness article by writer Tyler Butler, Cristi recalled how the couple’s journey began: “In 2020, Morgan started feeling off—brain fog, fatigue, trouble sleeping. After six months of me harassing him, I finally got him to go to the doctor.” Testing revealed that Morgan’s testosterone levels were dangerously low. With testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), his health and energy improved almost immediately.

That experience eventually led the couple to bring Gameday Men’s Health to Arizona. After meeting founder Evan Miller in San Diego, the Harrises agreed to open the third Gameday franchise in the country—and the first in the state. Since then, Gameday North Scottsdale has grown steadily while remaining focused on health, education, and service within the local community.

Over the past two years, Cristi and Morgan have directed approximately $65,000 in sponsorships and in-kind donations toward local causes, including Cave Creek Rodeo Days, the Cave Creek Unified School District Foundation, American Legion Post 34, Foothills Food Bank, Toys for Tots, and several local schools. “Philanthropy and community have always been important to Morgan and me,” Cristi said in the inBusiness interview. “Our focus is on veterans, food insecurity, youth sports, and wellness nonprofits, but we’ve never turned down a local organization that asks for help.”

That same commitment to giving back has shaped Gameday’s complimentary PSA testing program, which has provided roughly 800 free prostate screenings to men across the area. The program has had tangible results. “One of the first men we tested was my husband,” Cristi explained to Butler. “The previous clinic he went to didn’t alert him to an elevated PSA level. It turned out he had prostate cancer, but because we caught it early, he’s been cancer-free for over a year and a half.”

Outside of the clinic, Cristi volunteers her time on several nonprofit boards, including the Harris Olsen Family Foundation, the Carefree Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce, and the YHWH Foundation, which focuses on men’s health and wellness.

Her involvement with the Carefree Cave Creek Chamber Foundation helped expand the group’s Annual Casino Night fundraiser, which doubled its proceeds under her leadership. “Cristi created our Annual Chamber Foundation Casino Night that brings local businesses and community leaders together to raise funds for student scholarships and community grants,” notes Leigh Zydonik, Chair of the Carefree Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director of Foothills Food Bank, in the inBusiness article.

This November, Gameday North Scottsdale is hosting its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive benefiting Foothills Food Bank. Community members who bring in 10 non-perishable food items between now and November 11 will receive a free vitamin injection or 10% off their first-month membership or new service.

“In 2024, we collected 571 pounds of food, and we’re determined to beat that number this year,” Cristi said. Suggested donations include peanut butter, canned proteins, vegetables, fruits, and seasonal favorites like canned pumpkin, stuffing, and pie mix, items that help local families enjoy a complete holiday meal.

Following the food drive, the clinic will continue its annual Toys for Tots collection through early December, offering the same incentives for participation. Last year, more than 100 toys were donated, and Cristi Harris hopes to increase that total in 2025.

Gameday North Scottsdale also honors those who serve through its 20% Hero Discount for active military, veterans, and first responders. The Hero Discount is an initiative that carries personal meaning for the Harrises, whose son serves as a sergeant in the Marine Corps. “We have a special place in our hearts for organizations that support active military and veterans,” Cristi said.

There are twelve Gameday Men’s Health locations around the Greater Phoenix area. Go to the Gameday Location finder to find the one nearest you. Hero Discount varies by location.
